See you next year

December 13th, 2007 Fr. Peter Giovanoni No comments

We are in finals now, the end is near. Some students have already left. Because of the break our community will not be together on Christmas day, but we can keep each other in our hearts and prayers. I especially ask prayers for the success of our alternative winter break trip Jan 5-12 and for our students who will be studying abroad next semester. On Christmas we will celebrate the Incarnation as God reveals himself to us through the human nature He assumed at the Annunciation. Drawing closer to us, and also allowing us through Him to draw closer to each other. Have a Merry Christmas and may God bless you in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. As always, yours in the Love of Christ, Fr. Peter

Say hello to Jesus

December 6th, 2007 Fr. Peter Giovanoni No comments

Every wednesday night from 9 to 10 we have adoration. Last night we did a special all night adoration from 9pm to 9am this morning. Students came and went throughout the night spending time before the Eucharist. A time like this can help us focus on a truth we might forget sometimes. Jesus is Emmanuel, God is with us. He gives us Himself in the Eucharist to draw us ever closer to Him. God wants to spend eternity with you. How much time will we spend this season with God.
